Prop Shaft Flange Face Repair

Royce Onsite Machining responded within one day to a time-sensitive repair on a damaged prop shaft flange face. Using specialised equipment, we clocked the bore as the datum and machined the flange face, adhering to OEM limits with a maximum 4.5 mm material removal. 

Tolerances: 

• Squareness: 0.15 mm 
• Flatness: 0.05 mm 

Result:

The repair was completed on-site, removing 4 mm of material and meeting all OEM specs, preventing costly replacement.
